annnnnnd christopher asked what i wanted for my birthday, which is february 12th, if anyone cares. i told him i wanted a soda stream soda maker. we spend a lot of money on soda. i’ve been trying to cut it out but i have a hard time. and for a long time i thought it was because of the caffeine. but then i realized caffeine doesn’t really effect me. then i thought, well, maybe it’s the taste? but i prefer drinking juice over soda. so that wasn’t it.
then it hit me.
carbonation! i was addicted to the bubbly awesome-ness that soda has. so i tried walmart’s sparking flavored waters and looooved them. but they seem to be the only ones i like. i loathe water. not because it’s plain but i’ve been living in an area where we can’t drink the tap water. so i am used to bottled water. and that’s almost as bad as having a soda addiction.
i’ve been seeing the commercials about this thing alot lately. i originally heard about them a couple years ago. found out about it from a friend who sold a similar product. i researched for home soda makers and found the soda stream. i tried talking him into one when we first moved in together but the cost wasn’t feasible at the time. but now since my birthday is coming up, and being all caught up like we are with our taxes back, we’re gonna get one! i think it will save my parents money as well. they buy a lot of soda too .(guess i get the problem from them) ooooh i’m just so pumped!
